Yet Another Exit for Newcastle United This Week

Newcastle is going through a nightmare with one of the biggest exits from the team this week leaving the new manager with big trouble. With the departure of Rafa Benitez, the Magpies have suffered a lot and they have gone through a turbulent time last month. It was one of the toughest summers that they have faced till now. This week also witnessed another exit of Ayoze Perez from Tyneside that completed a switch amounting to £30m to Leicester. Numerous reports in Spain have also suggested that Joselu is also standing at the exit door after he has been chased by Alaves, known to be the La Liga side.

The sports director of Alaves, Sergio Fernandez, stated that he likes Joselu a lot, but he has rights of another club when asked about the potential move. Renowned footballer, Joselu have not been successful in impressing at the St. James Park since he moved from stoke. Dwight Gayle will be treated as an out-and-out striker for Newcastle United if the move for Spaniard’s Alaves goes through. He will become one and only trusted striker after the departure of Perez and the fact that the loan has ended for Salomon Rondon too. Expectations were there that Gayle would be sold earlier this summer, but now, it may be compulsory for him to stay in the northeast itself.

Newcastle United is quite interested to sign Rondon on a permanent basis but has low-balled West Brom so far who has their offers for the forward from Venezuela. As a matter of fact, this will create a big problem for the manager who will be coming as a replacement to Benitez in the hot-seat of Newcastle. Who will be the successor for Benitez? He has not been named yet but a host of candidates are being linked up with the vacant position.
