Potter wary of Newcastle threat

Brighton manager Graham Potter said that his players will not take Newcastle United lightly and that they will prepare themselves for the game. He said that it is important to not underestimate any opponent and make sure that you prepare yourself physically and mentally before each game.


He said that the Newcastle United has some good players and that in Steve Bruce they have a manager that can motivate his players.

Graham Potter said that the players should not believe that it will be an easy game as Newcastle United is third from bottom in the Premier League. Indeed Newcastle United has won only one game so far this season in the Premier League but it came against Tottenham Hotspurs who are the finalist of the Champions League.

Graham Potter said that there is no small side in the Premier League and that you will have to give your best in order to win games. He has warned his players to not be complacent as this will be a tough game. He said that it is never easy to play at St James Park and that the fans will get behind their team.

He said that the Brighton players will have to give their best if they want to get a positive result from the game.He admitted that there is some disappointment in the team after they conceded a late draw against Burnley.

Graham Potter said that it has been a long time since they won a game at home and that the confidence was really low after the game. He said that this is an opportunity to make amends and he believes that the players will be ready for the game. He said that they are preparing themselves well for this game and will be hoping for a great match against Newcastle United.
